wand

What is a treatment like?

SoLá Pelvic therapy is a gentle wand of therapeutic near-infared energy, or photobiomodulation, to treat the entire pelvis. The SoLá wand is inserted into the vagina and creates a pleasant warmth throughout the pelvic from the non-ablative laser. As the wand is inserted into the vagina, it directly treats the pelvic floor muscles, bladder wall, and rectal wall. It is a safe and pain free procedure that does not require anesthesia. The treatment lasts approximately three minutes and maximum resolution of symptoms can occur within just a few weeks. Many patients find relief without the time and expense of pelvic floor physical therapy.

SoLá Patient Testimonials

How does it work?

SoLá Pelvic Therapy works in these 3 ways to help you triumph over chronic pelvic pain--and get you on the path to joyful living. The mechanism of the therapy comes from the energy emitted from the probe. It increases production of cellular modulators important to healing and pain reduction, helps relax muscles through gentle massage, and stimulates oxygen delivery to painful tissue by stimulating blood flow.

Treatment

How soon can I expect results?

Some patients feel the effects of the treatment right away, and some feel significant relief after 3-6 sessions. Patient data shows average of 4.5 treatments before patients notice benefits and relief is expected to increase over time. Every patient is different, and we will give you the personalize care you need to find relief.

Are there risks of SoLá Pelvic Therapy?

As SoLá Pelvic Therapy is a minimally invasive treatment, risks are low. Some patients feel temporary discomfort or tender vaginal muscles after the procedure, but this resolves. SoLá Pelvic Therapy has not been tested on pregnant women, so it is important you are not pregnant at the time of your procedure.
