About Dr. Clark

Dr. Clark has a passion for healing and for improved patient outcomes. Following fellowship training, Dr. Clark was recruited by Hoag Hospital as the first Medical Director for the Womens Center for Continence. He received his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After completing residency, he further specialized by completing a Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery ("Urogynecology") at Indiana University/Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Dr. Clark is nationally recognized for his surgical skills and teaches advanced surgical techniques to other physicians throughout the United States. In 2008, he was invited by the Jordanian government to teach advanced gynecology surgery techniques to the Ministry of Health Gynecology Division. Dr. Clark uses a wide range of surgical and laparoscopic techniques and a da Vinci® robot. He participates in the design and development of surgical instruments and uses cutting edge urogynecology surgery techniques, products, and modalities.

Dr. Clark is an active member of the Orange County community having served as a youth soccer coach for over a decade and as a Scout Master in the Newport Beach Boy Scouts program. He enjoys hiking, camping and ocean sports. You may see him rowing a scull in the Newport Bay in the early morning hours. Dr. Clark is a family man and has been married to his wife for 35 years. Together they have four children.
